Why we built QuickReceipts

We started QuickReceipts because we were tired of dealing with receipts the hard way.

Paul was managing expense reports at his banking job, spending hours at the end of each month digging through piles of paper receipts and emails. Ryan was running his own business and religiously tracking receipts for tax write-offs, but the process was tedious and time-consuming.

One evening while hanging out, we realized we both had the same frustration: there had to be a better way to handle receipts. We spent months researching the market, talking to friends and colleagues, and realized this wasn't just our problem — it was everyone's problem. And the existing solutions weren't cutting it.

So we got to work building QuickReceipts.

What makes us different

We're still a small team, which means we stay focused on what matters most: building a receipt app that actually works the way you need it to. We can't offer the bells and whistles of a massive company, but we can promise you this — we care deeply about your privacy, your experience, and making receipt management as painless as possible.

Your receipts stay on your device by default. We don't sell your data. We don't clutter the app with features you'll never use. We simply help you capture, organize, and find your receipts when you need them.
