We collect information when you use the QuickReceipts mobile application and our website.
QuickReceipts accesses and processes email receipts in your email account (specifically, only Gmail at the moment) that you have connected to our Services. By linking our Services to your email accounts, you authorize us to collect, process, and retain information, including personal information, from those accounts. We use this information only to provide our Services to you.
Email Receipts. Email receipts, also known as commercial messages, are emails you receive or you auto-forward from businesses about subscriptions, sign-ups/cancellations, any account requests and confirmations, purchases, travel, reservations, event tickets, boarding passes, promotions, bills and package shipments, and other similar transactions. We only access and use Email Receipts to provide our Services to you.
Paper Receipts. You can also take pictures of your paper receipts using our App. By doing so, you authorize us to access, process, and retain information from these images to provide our Services to you. Paper receipts may include information about purchases, business transactions, and other personal information related to the transaction.
Note: We never share with other users the Email Receipts, Paper Receipts, or any data that contains personal information, such as your email address, IP address, name, photo, phone numbers, postal addresses (for example, if it is included in your shipping information).
Push Notifications. If you opt in to receive push notifications, we will send you push notifications about new receipt processing status and reminder notifications to manage your receipts. If you no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level.

We may also collect preferences and demographic information from you and about you from third parties. Additionally, we collect information about your website and app usage, sessions, actions, and how you interact with our applications. Usage Data. We may collect data about your interactions with our Services, such as the features you use, the time spent on the App, and your navigation patterns. This information helps us understand how our App is being used and how we can enhance it.
Log Data. When you access our Services, we may automatically collect certain information sent by your browser or mobile device. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, information on actions taken, and dates and times of access.
We will retain information you provide when you communicate with us, such as any emails you send to customer support.
As is true of most websites and apps, we gather certain information automatically when you use our apps and visit our website. The QuickReceipts app may only read Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide an email client that allows users to read and manage their email receipts. The QuickReceipts app will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.
The QuickReceipts app will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the QuickReceipts’ internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.
